Fundraise in your area
Whether you’ve signed up for an event and are looking to raise sponsorship money, or you’re organising your own event on behalf of the Paul Ridd Foundation, we would love your support and are happy to help you fundraise in your area.
In September 2016 our public fundraising began when a group of very kind volunteers joined Jayne, Jonathan and the family to climb Pen y Fan in the Brecon Beacons in very challenging weather to fundraise towards the cost of putting together our Learning Disability Logo packs.
We are regularly supported by Rosa and the Wanderers Walking Group who fundraise for us and regularly share our information leaflets to spread the news about our work. Thank you so much ladies.
In January 2017 Chris and Debbie Griffiths organised a Ladies Festival Evening with a 4 course dinner and disco in the Masonic Hall, Maesteg to fundraise for us. We were so pleased to attend such a great evening and the funds raised have made such a difference to our work.

In May 2017 Jen Eddy and her partner Jamie very kindly put themselves through the ultimate challenge of Tough Mudder to fundraise for us. Thank you both so much. We’ve just googled your challenge! Wow!
In October 2017 supporters Paula Phillips, Helen Fargie and Lyn Davies ran in the Cardiff Half Marathon. They raised over £1200 through their determination. Thank you so much ladies.
In November 2017, Sister Donna Thomas, Theatre Speciality Manager and Learning Disability Champion of Neath Port Talbot Theatre organised a Neath Port Talbot Hospital Reunion Evening to fundraise for our work. The evening raised over £800. Thank you so much to everyone who attended.
In July 2018 two of our followers Dave Bowyer and Nigel Williams took part in the Monte Carlo or Bust Rally to fundraise for us!! It was fab to see their daily updates of their adventures.
In October 2018 Rachel Williams completed the Cardiff Half Marathon to fundraise for us!! Well done Rachel!!
We think you’re fab!In November 2018 the Margam WI organised a “Women through the Ages” Fashion Show to raise funds for us. Thank you so much everyone who helped make the night such a great success.In November 2018 in North Wales Betsi Cadwaladr Learning Disability Liaison Nurse Sian Lewis and her mum organised a Sale to fundraise for Learning Disability Logo Packs and Champion packs for their Hospital. Thank you so much Barbara (Pictured below) and Sian! We think you’re brilliant!We’d like to say a huge thank you to the Finance Team in Revenues at NPTCBC based at Neath for raising £307 for us in December in their Christmas Raffle! Thank you all so much!!
