First of all, we would like to thank you for your support this year and to wish you a very Happy Christmas and a happy and healthy new year.
December can be a quiet month for us here at the Foundation, although there is always someone to contact, a family to support or meetings to organise for next year, so there is never a dull moment. We already have several interesting meetings lined up for the new year, from meeting with liaison nurses to Universities, which we are really looking forward to.
At the beginning of this month we attended the online Stakeholders Forum event for the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Autism and Learning Disability Awareness training for England. They are currently carrying out 4 trials throughout England to decide which format will be the most effective for this vital training. It was a wonderful event, hearing all the positive feedback that the trial has generated so far. We will keep you posted.
