Another successful healthcare roadshow was held in Merthyr Football Club (what a great venue!) on 16th August 2023.  We had over 70 guests attending, and so many people commented on the very happy atmosphere there!  We were joined by colleagues from Welsh Ambulance, Mencap Cymru, the learning disability liaison team from Cwm Taf UHB, immunisation nurses, Llais, and a lady from the dementia team who set up an arts and crafts table which was enjoyed by everyone.  We so enjoy hosting these events as they are such a great way to share information, for health professionals to share contacts, and for people with a learning disability to learn so much about the support that is available for them.  My highlight of the day was when someone in their forties, sat with one of the liaison team to fill out their first ever Health Profile. What a difference this will now make on their next healthcare appointment!
